About the EXOTIC LONGHAIR - Some may categorize them as Himalayan or Persian. They have slightly longer hair than shorthair cats, and their hair is softer than shorthairs. Even if both parents are exotic shorthairs, some longhair kittens will be born from those parents. I find their fur to be a lot easier to manage than Himalayans, as it is slightly less tangly and has less matting.
